Finally coming out this summer, we’ve got our first footage from Tiger Eyes, written by Blume in 1981.ĭirected and co-written by her son Lawrence Blume, we first heard of the project three years ago and got our debut image last year, but now this trailer showcases what looks to be something Blume clearly has a hand in with no studio influence - perhaps one of the reasons her work has taken so long to hit the screen. Considering she has been writing novels since the 1960s and selling over 80 million copies worldwide, it’s a bit surprising it has taken this long for one of Judy Blume’s works to make it make it to the big screen.
